Since water is the basis of all things living, I choose to consume fresh whole foods and living water. It’s important to drink a lot of water when eating dehydrated and cooked foods, to replace the water that’s missing.

HYDRATION TIPS

Everyone needs eight to ten cups of water a day, and at least ten to twelve if you’re more active.

• Don’t hydrate with caffeinated drinks or alcohol; they’re both diuretics and dehydrating.

• Drink water throughout the day and before you get thirsty.

• Carry water bottles with you to work, on errands, and when working out.

• Notice signs of dehydration such as fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, heat intolerance, light-headedness, dry cough, dark urine, and even muscle cramps.

• When exercising, drink at least: two cups before working out one cup every twenty minutes while working out At least two cups of water for each pound lost after exercising

• Beware of sports drinks that contain sugar and artificial colors and flavors. Opt for electrolytes from fresh Thai baby coconuts instead.
